Continued Growth

1
Consultation
Whether you’re planning an in-salon class or looking for guidance on what your team needs most, every education journey begins with a real conversation. Book a one-on-one consultation with Tab to talk through your goals, challenges, and the outcomes you’re working toward. We’ll create a plan tailored to your salon’s style, skill level, and culture.

2
Custom Plan
There’s no one-size-fits-all curriculum here. After understanding your team’s strengths and growth areas, Tab builds a class around exactly what you need — whether that’s foundational technique, advanced cutting structure, or creative inspiration. Every lesson is designed to be practical, impactful, and immediately usable behind the chair.

3
Hands-on Education
Real growth happens with your scissors in hand. Tab’s hands-on classes are fast-paced, technique-driven, and rooted in precision. Whether he’s demoing on a mannequin or guiding your team one-on-one, the energy is collaborative and focused. Expect to be challenged, supported, and pushed in all the right ways.

4
Continued Growth!
The learning doesn’t stop when class ends. Salons that host Tab in person receive a discount code for digital content on learnhairnow.com — a collection of cutting education designed to reinforce key concepts, support continued growth, and keep your team building confidence long after class is over.

Travel Details
What’s the cost to bring Tab in?
A one-day in-salon class is $2,500, plus a $1,000 flat travel fee to cover airfare, hotel, meals, and transport. No guesswork, no surprise add-ons.
What’s included in that rate?
You get a 6-hour in-salon class, a customized curriculum based on your team’s needs, a planning call before the day, and a checklist so you’re fully prepped.
Is a deposit required?
Yes — a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The balance is due one week before the class.
How do we book?
Click “Book Now” or “Message Tab” to start the process. We’ll talk through your goals, confirm details, and send over a simple contract.
Do you offer multi-day rates or ongoing education?
Absolutely. If you want to build out a longer format or recurring education, just let us know. We’ll put together a custom plan.
How long is the class?
A full day runs about 6 hours, typically 9 AM to 3 PM with time for breaks, Q&A, and hands-on coaching.
What’s the flow of the day?
Most classes start with a focused demo, followed by guided hands-on work. We build the day around your team’s pace and goals.
Is the education really customized?
Yes. Every class is shaped by a planning call and intake form, so no two are the same. Your team gets exactly what they need.
Is this class just for cutting?
The core focus is haircutting, but we can touch on consultation, structure, or creativity depending on what your team needs most.
What level of stylist is this for?
Stylists of all levels — from new talent to seasoned vets. The structure adjusts to your team’s experience.
Can we invite outside stylists?
Yes. With a Shared Class, your salon hosts and Tab’s team opens registration to outside stylists. You don’t have to manage anything.
How does ticketing work?
Tab’s team sells guest tickets directly — $250 for hands-on, $100 for demo-only — and your salon receives a 10% percentage of sales.
Does having guests take the focus off our team?
Not at all. The curriculum is still based on your salon’s goals. Guests are added without changing your class experience.
Do we help promote the class?
We’ll provide a simple flyer you can share with your local network, and Tab’s team will help amplify the promotion online. For every guest ticket sold, your salon earns 10% of the ticket price.
Can we stay private instead?
Of course. Shared classes are optional — most salons prefer private bookings for a more focused team environment.
What should we have ready?
Just a few chairs, outlets, and a comfortable setup. For hands-on classes, each stylist will need a mannequin and tripod.
Do we need live models?
Not unless you want them. Mannequins are preferred for hands-on work, but we can incorporate models if requested in advance.
Will we get a prep checklist?
Yes. After booking, we’ll send a simple checklist so you know exactly what to have ready.
Do we need to provide tools?
Each stylist should bring their own kit (shears, clips, combs). We’ll let you know if anything else is needed based on the curriculum.
What if our stylists have mixed experience levels?
That’s totally normal. Tab tailors the class so every stylist stays engaged — newer stylists get foundational coaching, while advanced team members are challenged with refined technique and precision work.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable, but if something comes up, we’ll do our best to reschedule within a reasonable time frame.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 6–8 weeks out. If you’re planning a specific event or promotion, earlier is better.
What if we have to reschedule?
We get it — things happen. If you need to shift your date, we’ll work with you as long as there’s availability.
Is there a contract?
Yes. You’ll receive a clear, no-surprises agreement that outlines everything — rates, dates, and expectations.
What does the $1,000 travel fee cover?
Airfare, hotel, meals, and ground transportation — all wrapped into one predictable number.
What if we’re near Austin?
If your salon is within driving distance of Austin, TX, the travel fee may be reduced. We’ll confirm that during your planning call.
Do you book travel or do we?
We handle all travel on our end. You just focus on the salon — we’ll handle the flights and hotel.
Can Tab travel outside the U.S.?
Yes — international education is available. We’ll provide a custom quote based on location and travel time.
Does Tab teach in rural areas or small towns?
Absolutely. Whether you’re in a big city or a tight-knit community, the format adjusts to your space and team.
